Limited Team V Entries Are Available
Cary, NC [July 7, 2021] – The V Foundation for Cancer Research, a top-rated cancer research charity, is inviting runners from across the U.S. to register as a part of Team V for the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the 50th Running of the TCS New York City Marathon. Scheduled to take place on October 10, 2021, the sold-out Chicago Marathon will host about 35,000 runners on a flat and fast route starting and ending in Grant Park. The sold-out NYC Marathon will take place on November 7, 2021 and will host approximately 33,000 runners. Individuals who are interested in participating in either marathon can only secure an entry through an official charity, like the V Foundation.
Team V gives participants the opportunity to make their miles count for more by running for a cause – to achieve Victory Over Cancer®

The V Foundation offers two fundraising options for Chicago: runners can fundraise $2,000 for a race entry and other Team V perks, or they can upgrade to a $3,000 fundraising option and receive race entry, the team perks and a complimentary two-night hotel stay. For the NYC Marathon, runners can fundraise $3,500 for a race entry and other Team V perks, or upgrade to $4,500 in fundraising to have a complimentary two-night hotel stay added to their benefits. Runners who are already registered to run either marathon can still join Team V and fundraise for cancer research by emailing teamv@v.org.
