McKenna and Cali’s Community Project

Support McKenna and Cali’s Community Project for the Jimmy V Foundation! McKenna and Cali, 8th-grade students at Corbett Prep in Tampa, FL, are proud to lead a fundraiser for the Jimmy V Foundation as part of their MYP Community Project. This initiative represents the culmination of their Service as Action journey in the IB-MYP program. McKenna’s inspiration stems from a personal experience—her grandmother passed away from metastatic breast cancer nearly two years ago. Through this loss, she discovered that many cancer charities allocate limited funds to research for a cure. That’s why McKenna and Cali chose the Jimmy V Foundation, which donates 100% of its proceeds directly to cancer research. Join us in supporting their mission to make a difference! Every dollar raised helps bring hope and progress toward a cure for cancer. Together, we can honor their hard work and contribute to this critical cause.

Games, raffles, prizes, celebrities gather at Prime Time Sports Bar & Grill to watch the NFL / Simpsons FunDay game set in Springfield. We are the “real” Springfield, and our community has rallied around this event to also support nonprofits.

Event Details for the 2024 Costello Classic
Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024
Location: ESM High School Gymnasium
Time: 5:30 PM – Student vs. Staff Game
7:00 PM – ESM Alumni Game

This event honors the legacy of Larry Costello – an ESM alumnus and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. Join us in celebrating his impact and supporting a cause that brings hope to countless lives. All proceeds from the Costello Classic will be donated to the V Foundation in Larry Costello’s memory.

Stow-Munroe Falls High School Basketball V Foundation Game

We will host a boy/girl double header game for the V Foundation in honor of Ann Ritchie, recently passed away after an 8-year fight against cancer, defying her early prognosis. Ann exemplified the “Don’t Give Up” theme of the V Foundation in her courageous battle against cancer. Ann had a son and a daughter who were basketball standouts at Stow. This game will honor Ann and promote the V Foundation for Cancer Research.

Tackle Cancer Before the Snap

Join SmashUp Sports and Fantasy Cares as we team up to Tackle Cancer before the Snap and raise money to support the V Foundation in cancer research and cancer prevention. Thanksgiving week is for family and football!
