Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, Julie Chase founded and led Chase Communications for 20 years before the Washington, DC and San Francisco offices were acquired by LEVICK. She then started ChasePR, LLC which continues to represent clients across the US. She brings more than 25 years of experience in media relations and marketing communications services to a diverse corporate client base across multiple industries, including real estate development, healthcare, law, education, consumer, and transportation.
Julie is expert at reputation management, media outreach and training, marketing, crisis strategy, public affairs, and events. Deeply committed to civic involvement in both the D.C. and Bay Area communities, she is proud to be a V Foundation for Cancer Research board member since 2018 and has chaired the DC-area Signature Event each year. She is also a board member of QL+, an organization providing innovative solutions to veterans and first responders, and is on the 2024 Army-Navy Game Committee.
Over her career, Julie was a founding board member of Leadership High School, a charter school in San Francisco; chaired the board of Enterprise for High School Students – now Enterprise for Youth – which major fundraiser was the San Francisco Fall Antique Show, and chaired their Art Tour for two years; was a board member of CulturalDC, Choral Arts, San Francisco Architectural Heritage, the American Liver Foundation, American News Women’s Club, the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks, The Belden Club, and Commercial Real Estate Women.
She has previously served as a committee member to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, Corporate Committee of the Trust for the National Mall, the Lombardi Cancer Center, and is a current member of The Economic Club, the Bay Area Council, and the Urban Land Institute.
Julie is a graduate of Georgetown University with a B.A. in international relations, a minor in art history, and a concentration in Spanish. She is a daily runner and art enthusiast.
