R.C. “Bucky” Waters is the retired Vice Chancellor for Alumni and Development at Duke University Medical Center. He is currently a broadcaster for ESPN, Inc. and several other media outlets.
Waters brings 30 years of experience to the broadcasting world, which includes coverage with NBA TV, USA Network, Jefferson/Raycom, Madison Square Garden and Fox Sports, in addition to his work with ESPN, Inc. He has been the voice of professional golf with the PGA, professional baseball with the Durham Bulls and held anchoring positions for NBC during the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He is most known for his work with collegiate basketball.
Waters was a collegiate basketball player and coach. He played for NC State University and held head coaching positions at West Virginia University and Duke University.
